When does Chequo launch?
Public launch is mid-2026 in Italy. We are onboarding pilot restaurants now to refine the product with real operators ahead of the launch.
Is there a per-staff or per-tablet fee?
No. You pay one flat monthly price per location. Add as many tablets, kitchen displays, and staff PINs as you need.
What hardware do I need?
Any modern Android phone or tablet, or any iPhone or iPad. For shared terminals we recommend a 10" Android tablet with 4GB RAM (~€120), plus a network ESC/POS receipt printer. We can sell you a kit if you prefer.
Do you charge payment processing fees?
No. Bring your own card terminal and processor. We integrate with the major Italian acquirers and add more on request.
How does Italian fiscalization work?
Chequo includes a certified Italian fiscal integration that sends corrispettivi telematici to the Agenzia delle Entrate automatically and generates electronic invoices (FatturaPA) on demand. The trail is exportable for your commercialista.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans, cancel from your dashboard, no minimum commitment. Annual prepayment available with a discount.
What if my internet goes down during service?
Tablets keep taking orders offline and sync to the cloud when the connection comes back. You will not lose a check.
Can I use just the QR menu or reservations without the POS?
Yes. The QR menu and reservations are each available standalone at €20/month per location — no POS required. They’re also included in the POS plans (reservations comes with the Restaurant plan).
